Thunder is among us. NBA Finals are here and so are risks of ticket scams. Fans need to be aware of how they are purchasing their tickets. It can be very hard to tell the difference between a fake ticket and a real one especially, if you purchase a printout ticket. Buyers generally don’t know they have a fake ticket until entry time.

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — Oklahoma City has been thunderstruck by the success of its NBA franchise.

Oklahomans are, for the time being, forgetting their loyalties to their Bedlam rival and Golden Hurricane college teams.

The Thunder open the NBA finals against the Miami Heat at home on Tuesday.

The city is decked out in the blue-and-orange team colors, and one business has put up a giant beard on its facade as a tribute to Thunder guard James Harden.

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) — The U.S. Supreme Court has declined to hear an appeal from a man who argued that he owned the copyright to the phrases "Go Thunder" and "Let's Go Thunder."

The Oklahoman reports  the high court rejected the case this week without comment. Charles Syrus sued the NBA team's ownership group, arguing that the phrases were protected by copyright because he used them in a song about the Thunder.

By declining to hear the appeal, the high court leaves in place a federal appeals decision that sided with the Thunder.
