Perpetual Beta: America's Test Kitchen

America's Test Kitchen is a real 2,500 square foot test kitchen located just outside of Boston that is home to more than three-dozen full-time cooks, editors, food scientists, tasters, and cookware specialists. Their mission is simple: to develop the absolute best recipes for all of your favorite foods. To do this, they test each recipe 30, 40, sometimes as many as 70 times, until they arrive at the combination of ingredients, technique, temperature, cooking time, and equipment that yields the best, most-foolproof recipe.

Here's the Thing with Alec Baldwin

Actor Alec Baldwin is best known in public radio circles as host of The New York Philharmonic broadcasts (Sunday afternoons at 1 pm on Classical 88.7-1) and for his tongue-in-cheek rants urging listeners to not contribute during fund drives.

One of our favorite podcasts is his new series of Here's The Thing interviews from WNYC in New York. Alec takes us inside the dressing rooms, apartments, and offices of people whom he really wants to learn more about.
