Tulsa, OK – 15 affected after chemical release in Tulsa
TULSA, Okla. (AP) An accidental hazardous chemical release at a Tulsa trucking company has affected 15 people, sending at least nine of them to an area hospital.
Tulsa Fire Department spokesman Bill French says a 55-gallon drum of chloromethyl naphthalene (NAF-thuh-len), a corrosive liquid, started leaking on a truck about 10 a.m. Friday at the Old Dominion Freight Line facility.
