Although the sales tax collections reported in May had increased, the City's small decline was anticipated and is in line with projections for the next fiscal year.
Tulsa City and County are filing for a joint application to hire four civilian crime analysts. The amount totals 665-thousand dollars. The City would get 627-thousand of that. The grant is from the U-S Department of Justice---in the form of a Justice Assistance Grant.
The grant appears on tomorrow morning's eight o'clock City Council agenda.
