Tulsa, OK – The Tulsa Planning Commission considers allowing roof-top signs in the Blue Dome District. Blake Ewing owns "Joe Mama's" Pizza near 1st and Elgin. He wants one of the signs, similar to the Meadow Gold sign near 11th and Peoria which is permited under a grandfather clause.

Michael Sager owns the 1st Street Lofts. He reminded the commission that there is more to signage than letters. He calls it an art form.

Tulsa, OK – Voters in the Tulsa School District will be asked to decide the fate of a 354-million dollar bond issue on March 2nd. Tulsa School Board President Doctor Keith Ballard says the majority of the funding will be used for facility upkeep. 97% of Tulsa school facilities are 30-year-old or older.

As the new bonds would replace retiring bonds, there would be no tax increase.

Oklahoma City, OK – OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) Oklahoma's former chief medical examiner is suing the state to get his job back.

Dr. Collie Trant filed a lawsuit in Oklahoma County District Court Tuesday that asks a judge to reinstate him.

Trant was fired on Feb. 5 after less than nine months on the job. The state Board of Medicolegal Investigations, which administers the agency, met in executive session for about an hour before voting 5-0 to terminate Trant's employment.

Tulsa, OK – Tulsa Police will respond again to non-injury crashes. The department made the announcement in a news release, saying after an evaluation it has been determined that the department does have the man-power to respond. The cut back in service was announced after over 100-police officers were laid off earlier this month.
