The preliminary hearing is set for Feb. 21st for the Oklahoma teenager that is charged with plotting a mass shooting at his Bartlesville high school.

Sammie Eaglebear Chavez is being held on a $1 million bond at the Washington County jail. Chavez, 18, is being accused of plotting a shooting towards students and detonating bombs to kill police. No one was harmed. Chavez was arrested the same day as the elementary school shooting in Newtown, Conn.

Kitsopoulos, appointed to the post in late October, is also the music director of the Queens Symphony Orchestra, in New York City, and serves as general director of the Chatham Opera, which he founded in 2005. He's previously been a guest conductor at OK Mozart on several occasions; he also serves as the music director of the Festival of the Arts BOCA, a multi-day cultural arts event in South Florida.

BARTLESVILLE, Okla. (AP) — A judge has scheduled an Oct. 11 trial date for two former Bartlesville police officers accused of assault and battery.

The Examiner-Enterprise reports that a judge scheduled the date Wednesday for Stacy Charles Neafus and Sonya Jean Worthington. Both faces misdemeanor charges of assault and battery.

The pair is accused of assaulting a man who was a patient at Jane Phillips Medical Center in Bartlesville.

They have pleaded not guilty to the charges.

BARTLESVILLE, Okla. (AP) — The Bartlesville Examiner-Enterprise says it's reached an agreement with the city for the release of a video that allegedly shows police officers assaulting a hospital patient.

The newspaper reported Friday that its attorney made several requests for the video after a judge on Monday ordered its release under the state's open records law. The newspaper said it would decide how to make the video available to the public after it reviews the contents.
