Oklahoma Soldier Killed

Hooker, OK – The war in Afghanistan has taken the life of an Oklahoma native. Army Captain David J. Thompson was killed during combat operations in the Wardak province in Afghanistan.

Captain Thompson was a native of Hooker, Oklahoma in the panhandle. He was 39-years old. He is survived by his wife and two children. His parents live in Hinton, Oklahoma.
