New Training Facility Named for Tulsa Sheriff

A regional law enforcement training facility is being built in Tulsa and it will be named after current Sheriff Stanley Glanz. A deal to purchase land at the U-S Shooting Academy range at 66th Street North is finalized, and Sheriff Glanz says the plan is for it to become a regional training facility for area law officers and agents.

Glanz hopes construction will begin within six months. Tulsa County leaders have officially named the new facility the Sheriff Stanley Glanz Law Enforcement Training Center.
