Kendall-Whittier Elementary Evacuated

Students at the Kendall-Whittier Elementary School have a curb side seat as Tulsa Fire Fighters search for a cause of smoke in the building. The smoke was reported in one of the school’s education wings.  The fire alarm, at the Tulsa Public School in the 2500 block of East 5th Street, was turned in around 11 AM this morning. The school was immediately evacuated.

Fire fighters got onto the roof to inspect the structure. EMSA was called as a precaution, after one adult apparently experienced a medical problem believed unrelated to the smoke.
