This book, like much of Chandrasekaran's tireless reporting over the last several years, basically explores America's response to both al Qaeda and the Taliban in Afghanistan --- a complex, often difficult, and ongoing military engagement that now stands as the longest war in U.S. history. (AP) &mdash; The Department of Defense says a soldier from Oklahoma has died in Afghanistan.</p><div><p>The department says 25-year-old Spc. James E. Dutton of Checotah died Saturday in Logar province in Afghanistan.
